The Export Documentation Team provides a complete certification service to Members and Non-members of The Chamber.
The range of Export Documentation that can be certified are EC Certificates of Origin, Electronic Certificates of Origin, Arab Certificates of Origin, Invoices, Agreements and a range of “other documents”. We also certify Customs movement forms - EUR1 & ATR.
We are agents for the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce & Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce and can give you advice and support on how to get your documentation certified and legalised through these Chambers.
Electronic Export Documentation service is available for exporters for fast processing of Export Documentation.
Electronic Certificates of Origin
Certificates of Origin (Arab & EU) can now be processed electronically (on-line) using the e-Cert World portal www.e-cert.org.uk Access e-Cert World to use e-Cert so register your company details to use e-Cert World & e-Cert, assign yourself a username & password and upload digital signatures.

We have now launched the latest version of e-Cert which has undergone significant changes to the exporter’s view of the system. The new version is far more intuitive for first time users and has a much more user-friendly feel.

Certificates of Origin, EUR1 & ATR documents
A Certificate of Origin is a document which proves the country of origin, production or manufacture of goods and is typically required for worldwide shipments. Certain countries also require these for tariff & duty purposes.
EUR1 documents enables the importer to receive a reduced tariff/duty on the goods being shipped to countries outside the EU. ATR documents also enables the importer to receive a reduced tariff/duty except that this document is only used for shipments to Turkey.
Please check with your client if a Certificate of Origin, EUR1 or a ATR document is required for exporting goods.
Prices & Fees
The costs for Export Documentation are dependant on CWCC membership. Frieght forwarders need to ensure that their client as well as themselves are Chamber members to benefit from the discounted fee. Please contact the Chamber for more details regarding Membership.

Recorded & Special Delivery
Export Documentation can be returned via Recorded or Special Delivery via Royal Mail to clients which incurrs an extra charge of £1.50 for recorded & £5.00 for Special Delivery. This is to track items that are sometimes delayed or lost by Royal Mail to ensure a safe return of your important documents. Please take this into account when paying for Export Documentation. Please note that it is the repsonsibility of the Exporter to send and collect documents to & from the Chamber unless otherwise instructed as the Chamber will not be held responsible for documents lost by Royal Mail.
